There is a way to obtain information about the cars’ history from independent online sources, in order to verify important information, such us mileage history and body condition of the car. We cannot stress enough the importance of the word “independent”. Direct receipt of the information without any intermediaries is crucial.

This website provides a very detailed report, including mileage history, previous use, car body and interior condition, etc. It costs JPY 3,500, which usually equals to EUR 20 - EUR 25. Report needs one working day to be compiled, before sent to your email address. All you need is the car’s chassis/VIN number.

This website allows for a free mileage history check. There is also an option to buy a full history report for less than EUR 10. All you need is the car’s UK registration number.
